Terms and Conditions for Registration of Members into the Professional Association of Nyanza Women (PAN WOMEN)


Introduction
By applying for membership in Professional Association of Nyanza Women (PANY Women), (“the Association”), you agree to abide by these terms and conditions.
These terms and conditions may be updated from time to time, and members will be notified of any changes.
Eligibility
Membership is open to individuals who meet the eligibility criteria set by the Association.
Applicants must complete the membership application form and provide accurate and truthful information.
Membership Categories
The Association offers different categories of membership. Details of each category, including benefits and fees, are provided on the Association’s website.
The Governing Council reserves the right to determine the eligibility for each category of membership.
Application Process
Applicants must submit a completed application form along with your identification document.***
Applications will be reviewed by the Membership Committee of the Governing Council, and applicants will be notified of the decision within fourteen days (14) of submission.
The Association reserves the right to reject any application without providing a reason.
Membership Fees
Membership fees are determined by the Governing Council in concurrence with the Members and are subject to change.
Membership fees must be paid in full at the time of application or renewal.
Fees are non-refundable, except in cases where the application is rejected.
Rights and Responsibilities of Members
Members have the right to participate in the activities of the Association and access member benefits as outlined on the Association’s Constitution.
Members are expected to conduct themselves in a manner that upholds the reputation and values of the Association.
Members must comply with the Association’s code of conduct and any other policies established by the Association.
Termination of Membership
Membership may be terminated by the member by submitting a written notice to the Association.
The Association reserves the right to terminate membership if a member violates these terms and conditions or engages in conduct detrimental to the Association.
In the event of termination, membership fees will not be refunded.
Data Protection and Privacy
The Association is committed to protecting the privacy of its members. Personal data collected during the application process will be used solely for the purposes of managing membership and providing member benefits.
The Association will not share personal data with third parties without the member’s consent, except as required by law.
Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising from membership will be handled in accordance with the Association’s dispute resolution policy.
Members agree to attempt to resolve disputes amicably before seeking any external resolution mechanisms.
Governing Law
These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Kenya under the Societies Act.
Any legal actions arising from membership in the Association shall be brought in the courts of Kenya.
